
Join the Northern Monmouth Watershed Alliance and our wonderful partners for “Celebrate the Shore We Share,” taking place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Keansburg Baywalk West as part of the Waterfront Alliance and New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program City of Water Day.
Now in its 19th year, City of Water Day is a region-wide day organized by Waterfront Alliance and New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP), to champion a climate-resilient New York and New Jersey harbor.

4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Beach Clean-up – (Susan Devine, Red Bank & Clean Ocean Action)
Grab some gloves, a grabber, and a bucket, and join us for a beach clean-up! Every little bit helps. By cleaning up litter, you will make a difference in our community.
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm – Seining @ Baywalk West Shoreline – (Jenna Reynolds and Joe Sheridan, Save Coastal Wildlife)
Join Save Coastal Wildlife for a Seining session! Learn about the fish and other wildlife that live in the bay.
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm – Paddleboard / Kayak @ Baywalk West Shoreline – (Charlene Kiley, Northern Monmouth Watershed Alliance)
Ready to get on the water? Join us for paddleboarding and/or kayaking, with paddlesports equipment provided by Jersey Shore Paddle and Sandy Hook Kayaks! Note: there is a limited number of equipment available. Register early to save your spot!

Join Save Coastal Wildlife’s Jenna Reynolds to learn all about the Ecology of the Raritan Bay!
8:00 pm – 8:30 pm – Sunset Walk Starting @ Baywalk West (Charlene Kiley, Northern Monmouth Watershed Alliance)
End the evening with a peaceful sunset walk to fully experience and celebrate the shore we share.
City of Water Day welcomes communities to experience their local waterways through free, family-friendly activities that support joy, belonging, education, access, and stewardship. In addition to the sessions above, there will be educational exhibits.
Waivers will be required for certain sessions.
